Sydney University Graduate Choir will perform Brahms’ A German Requiem at Sydney Town Hall on November 10, 2019
We are inviting other experienced choristers to join us for this outstanding event.
We will be using the Peters edition of the score. Please order on your registration page if you need one.
The vocal scores are ready for distribution, together with the CD rehearsal aids.
Translation of the text is included in the section on the Music – click on the tab at the top of the page.
Note: All rehearsals are compulsory
I. Rehearsals with SUGC and guest singers at Forest Lodge Public School, corner Bridge Road and Ross Street Saturday 2 November
10am – 1pm Sop/Alto (piano rehearsal)
2pm – 5pm Ten/Bass (piano rehearsal)
If you are not able to attend your Nov 2 rehearsal, you could join a Monday evening 7.00pm rehearsal for your voice part at Forest Lodge Public School (Cnr Bridge Rd and Ross St, Forest Lodge): Dates tba in September.
II. Combined rehearsal – Fort Street High School
Saturday 9 November
10.00 – 1.00 SATB (with piano)
2.00 – 5.00 SATB, , soloists & orchestra
III. Compulsory rehearsal at Sydney Town Hall
Sunday 10 November
Registration 8.30 – 9.15
Rehearsal 9.30 – 1.00
Performance 3 pm
Singing fee for choristers: $130 /$150 .
$130 is the Early Bird fee, available until 12 August 2019; the full fee of $150 will be required after that.
Score only – Peters edition $16 including packing and postage
Learning aids on CD: CD with your part highlighted against the other parts $21 score + CD. If it is sent separately, $8 CD only.

You will receive an on-screen acknowledgement of your registration. If you have not received your score and further information after about 3 weeks please email email@example.com
If you are interested in singing with us we now invite you to register formally and pay the registration fee. As you will understand, we may need to close some voice parts early in order to maintain a balance of voice parts. We will notify you in advance if that is looking likely.
