Sydney Sings is the home of outreach events of the Sydney University Graduate Choir.

Sydney Sings Messiah 2016 took place at the Sydney Town Hall on Sunday 13th November to an excited and enthusiastic audience.  The Sydney University Graduate Choir was joined by over 300 guest singers;  we all had a wonderful time singing Handel’s magnificent music again with the amazing Town Hall organ and our orchestra.

Many of the guest singers have sung with the Graduate Choir for a number of our Sydney Sings events in the Town Hall, and feel as though we are one big happy family with our professional orchestra and soloists under the inspiring leadership of conductor, Christopher Bowen.

Plan for Sydney Sings in 2017:

Sydney University Graduate Choir will invite guest choristers to join us again in 2017 to sing Verdi’s Requiem in the Sydney Town Hall on Sunday, 12th November.   We hope that singers who joined us for this work in 2013 will join us again, and that many other singers will join us in 2017.

Details about expressions of interest, registration and rehearsals (Sat 4th and Sat 11th November) will appear on this web-site in March, but we hope that singers will hold the date in their diaries now.

Thank you to all who performed or were in the audience for Sydney Sings in 2016, and we look forward to seeing you for another exciting event in 2017.
